Bulk Bags (FIBC)

Clean Room FIBCs:

We manufacture FIBCs in AIB, BRC, and HACCP approved Class 300K level clean rooms.

In our clean room FIBCs, all the components, including the colors, are approved according to the specific industry standards. The packing and transportation of the FIBCs are all specially designed for clean room FIBCs.

UN-FIBC

UN Certification bags are made in accordance with the United Nations Recommendations on the Transportation of Dangerous Materials. Safe for the transportation and storage of Packaging Groups II and III.

To achieve UN Certification, our bulk bags are rigorously tested in various conditions. These include:

- 6:1 safety factor test

- Drop test where the FIBC is drop from a prescribed height

- Topple test where the FIBC is toppled from a prescribed height

- Righting test where a toppled FIBC is lifted up by two corner straps

- Stacking test

We make the heaviest UN certified bag in the industry at load from 2000 lbs up to 5500 lbs.  We use the most reliable test labs in the USA and Canada to conduct our UN certification. Our UN bags are approved by USDOT or Transport Canada.

crohmiqType D bags contain conductive fibers which are encased in layers of non-conductive, woven fabric. These fibers dissipate static electricity into the air surrounding the bag.

We use Crohmiq type of fabric which is a patented, woven polypropylene static protective Type D fabric used in the manufacture of ungrounded bulk bags or FIBC for use in flammable gas, vapor and dust atmospheres. FIBC constructed of Crohmiq fabric provide static protection by dissipating static charge through a corona discharge process, and by limiting the energy of discharges to prevent ignition of any flammable environment.
Crohmiq Static Protective Type D FIBC are used in a wide range of applications where flammable gas or vapor such as ethylene, toluene, methane etc. or flammable dust such as corn starch, pigments, resins, fertilizers etc. are present.

Advantages:

- safely stores flammable and combustible materials

- can be used in environments containing flammable solvents and gases

- safely dissipates static electricity into the air

- no need for grounding

- protects against sparks, brush discharges, and propagating brush discharges

Type-CType C bulk bags are made from polypropylene woven fabrics which contain conductive threads in a grid pattern. This pattern of conductive threads safely conducts the static electricity from the surface of the bag down to a system of grounding points on the bag.

Advantages:

- prevents dangerous sparks from igniting and causing fires

- dissipates static electricity

- prevents brush discharges

- safely contains combustible materials

- safely contains flammable materials

- safely stores materials in environments containing solvents

Type C Conductive bags must be grounded at all times in order to dissipate the static electricity. If these bags become separated from the ground, statics can accumulate on the bag and dangerous sparks and brush discharges can occur. Therefore, for situations in which grounding is impossible, Type D bags need to be used.
